Amanda Page Smith
Amanda Page Smith is a Music Educator and Conductor who most recently served as Director of Children's Music at the Brick Presbyterian Church and The Brick Church School in New York City. Ms. Smith holds an M.M.E from Westminster Choir College, a B.M in Vocal Music Education from St. Olaf College, Kodàly Music Education certification from New York University, and Music Together Certification.
She is active as a workshop clinician through organizations such as Choristers Guild, The American Guild of Organists (AGO), and the National Association of Educators of Young Children (NAEYC). In 2006 she was named one of five “Outstanding Choir Leaders” by Choristers Guild and has served on the Choristers Guild Institute faculty since its inception. She has published articles on early childhood music education through MENC and the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association (ECMMA), and contributed to the book “Learning from Children: Research in Early Childhood Music” (Rowan & Littlefield, 2011).
Amanda lives with her husband, violinist Justin Smith, and their two children in New York City.
