CGA1124 Infant Holy, Infant Lowly
Description
This beautiful, graceful setting of the traditional Polish carol is ideally suited for young, changing voice choirs. Appropriate vocal ranges and accessible part writing allow developing mixed voice choirs the opportunity to sing with confidence and success. Simulating a light Renaissance style, the anthem's middle section gives singers a chance to sing a cappella accompanied only by tambourine, hand drum, and finger cymbals. The piece then concludes with a full, flowing piano accompaniment that artistically highlights the lush vocal harmonies. A hymn study related to the piece can be found on the members only "hymn studies" section of the website. An anthem teaching guide can be found on the members only "Anthem Teaching Plans" section of the website.
