CGA1145 Ready to Forgive
Description
Based on Luke 6:37 and Nehemiah 9:17, this anthem for Lent or any general time of year highlights the mercies of God's abiding love and unfailing forgiveness. In recalling the words of Jesus, the anthem also reminds us of our responsibility to forgive others just as God has forgiven us. Melodic and textual repetition throughout the piece simplifies the learning process for any choir of unison or two part treble voices.
