CGA1155 From All That Dwell Below the Skies
Description
Isaac Watts' glorious hymn text, From All That Dwell Below the Skies, springs to life in this exuberant, new arrangement for children's choir or any ensemble of treble voices. Syncopated rhythms in the accompaniment highlight the familiar DUKE STREET tune in stanzas one and three contrasted by a more flowing, legato accompaniment in stanza two. A slightly slower tempo and the addition of optional vocal harmony in stanza three brings the piece to an exciting, climatic conclusion.
Voicing: Unison/Two-part with piano
Text: Sts. 1-2, Isaac Watts, 1674-1748
Arranger: Cindy Berry
