CGA1167 In the Morning
Description
This beautiful prayer anthem offers both children's choir and congregation the opportunity to corporately express thanksgiving and praise for the riches of God's blessings. After an opening Scripture narrative from Psalm 136:1 and Lamentations 3:22-23, the children's choir expresses gratitude to God for answering prayer, creating a wonderful world, and for being a loving and compassionate God. In the concluding stanza, optional flute and handbells, along with optional congregation combine together to accompany the choir in a final declaration of thanksgiving for God's bountiful gifts from above.
