CGA498 Sing a Jubilant Song
Description
This anthem for two-part voices with keyboard is appropriate for the Easter season or for general use. The text of this joyous anthem tells the story of Jesus' life on earth, beginning with the Christmas story and climaxing with the resurrection. The middle contrasting section has a lower tessitura, and special care must be given to the vocal production used here. Ask singers to sing the lower notes more lightly; avoid the use of a pushed 'chest voice'.
Voicing: Two parts
Composer: Dale Peterson
Text: Dale Peterson
