With its focus on the coming of Christ at Christmas, this anthem may be used along with the suggested readings (included in the octavo) for an Advent Wreathe lighting ceremony. Suggestions are included for using the piece throughout all four Sundays in the Advent Season. If desired, the congregation may also join in singing a portion of the piece, using the congregational page provided.
