CGA878 The Lord Is My Light
Description
Adapted from Psalm 27, this exuberant anthem has become one of Choristers Guild's most popular anthems over the past decade. With it's bright, dancing tempo and cheerful, lilting accompaniment, this piece in 6/8 meter is an excellent selection for any choir of middle and older elementary singers. Although the anthem may be sung in unison, the optional second vocal part offers a great introduction to part singing with its easy echo phrases and simple harmonies.
