CGA960 Once In Royal David's City

Description

This delightful setting of the well-known carol will make a welcome addition to any Christmas service or concert. A soloist or small ensemble sings the first stanza while the congregation and choir joins together in singing stanzas two and four. Stanza three highlights the children's choir as they sing alone in unison or two parts. A finely crafted organ accompaniment and a treble instrument part add a colorful dimension to the anthem that may also be sung effectively as a processional.
