CGA980 Psalm 130
Description
This flexible anthem provides a number of options for use with a unison choir, combination of children's choir and adult choir, or choirs and congregation. Options for use are listed in the anthem and can be amended to fit any situation. Written in a spirit of graceful strength, the melody is easy to both learn and sing. Verse five of the Psalm serves as the refrain emphasizing a message of hope and trust in God. The refrain and additional stanzas provide opportunities for antiphonal singing if desired.
