Description
While rhythmically simple, there are added musical elements, handchimes and techniques that will engage listeners while creating opportunity to foster growth in a beginning ensemble at a comfortable pace. This well-known hymn is always well received as a thought-provoking backdrop during the Lenten season or communion services. The optional suspended bells that bookend the arrangement create a feel of steeple bells in the distance calling worshipers together. Available in two compatible settings, developing ensembles will find it easy to polish this piece in only a few rehearsals.
