CGB237 Joy and Hope Abounding (3 octaves)
Description
A joyful and beautiful original composition that alternates between a 3/4 and 6/8 feel. Upbeat and happy in the beginning and ending sections with extensive use of mallets on tabled bells. A lush, restful mid-section employs triplets in the accompaniment against an eighth note melody line. Commissioned by Resurrection Lutheran Church in Plano, TX for their 25th anniversary.
An edition for 3, 4 or 5 octaves is also available, code CGB1079. The two editiosn are compatible for massed ringing.
