CGB271 Good King Wenceslas
Description
This arrangement offers developing choirs an exciting opportunity to perfect many articulations. The familiar carol emerges in the beginning of the piece above the detached accompaniment of thumb damps and mallets. Marked "gently" the contrasting section that follows offers echoes in the bass that complements the flowing melody line above. The piece winds down with a stately repeat of the melody incorporating mart lifts and a return of the opening section to bring it to a close.
