CGB362 A Mighty Fortress Is Our God - 3-5 octaves
Description
Both the rhythmic and metrical versions of the tune "Ein Feste Burg" are utilized in this fast, lively and very unique arrangement. Repeated LV patterns in the upper treble bells accompany the rhythmic version of the tune in the middle and lower range bells. Then the piece switches to a fun, malleted bass line that accompanies the melody in the upper bells. The LV pattern returns in the upper bells, while the middle and lower bells present the metrical version of the tune with large, full chords. The malleted bass line and rhythmic melody in the treble take the arrangement to a surprising close. The techniques included are mallets, thumb damp, and LV.
