CGB417 The March of the Kings (La Marche des Rois)
Description
This 700-year-old tune is a carol in marching style from Provence, France. One version of the carol appears in Bizet's "Farandole" from L'Arlesienne Suite No. 2 and a portion of Bizet's idea is used at the end of this arrangement. It is especially appropriate at Christmas, but is also an exciting and challenging festival piece for use at any time of year.
