CGB505 In Bright Mansions Above (Handbell Score)
Description
Partially inspired by John Gillespie Magee Jr.'s famous poem, "High Flight," this creative arrangement of the spiritual features a soaring accompaniment as well as majestic harmonies reflective of the "wind-swept heights" and "sun-split clouds." Appropriate for services of remembrance, this work would also provide a time for reflection within a concert setting. The optional vocal solo and piano part are included in the full score - CGB504.
Arranger: Karen Lakey Buckwalter
Voicing: 3, 4, or 5 octave handbells
