CGB623 In Quietness and Confidence
Description
This peaceful, original composition was written for one of the composer's graduating youth ringers. It is inspired by the text from Isaiah 30:15 that says: "In quietness and confidence shall be your strength." The melody appears in both clefs, giving beginning ringers an opportunity to work on balance. The echo technique is used extensively, adding movement to whole and half notes.
Voicing: Handbells or handchimes; 3 octaves
Composer: Linda R. Lamb
Level: 1
