CGB633 Glory on Their Wings
Description
The lovely melody of this original composition was inspired by a poem about angels written by E. Brine. Composed in ABA form, the melody and interesting chord progressions combine to create a hauntingly beautiful feeling of serenity. The optional handchimes also provide melodic contrast with a light, malleted ostinato in the treble bells and later reinforce bass notes during the echoes. After modulating to a new key and returning to the original theme, the piece brings the listener to a soft, peaceful conclusion.
