CGB962 All Creatures of Our God and King - 3-7 octaves
Description
In this arrangement of All Creatures of Our God and King, the music reflects the imagery of the text: all creation praises God. The visual effect of handbells is in full force here; the music looks and sounds exciting! Dancing mixed-meter rhythms and surprising harmonies abound. The up-and-down cascading C major scales in the second stanza emulate the rushing wind and sailing clouds in the text. The music builds to an unexpected, triumphant Db major section, before leaping joyfully back into the key of C for the energetic finale. Thie arrangement can be used on Easter or for any joyous occasion.
