Spirit of God, Descend upon My Heart
This reverent setting of the tune, MORECAMBE, is published in editions for handbell solo and handbell duet or trio. The easy solo version ranges from A4 to C6, and may be played on bell tree or from the table. The duet/trio version features no bell changes. While much of the arrangement is reflective and meditative, it includes a section that crescendos with strength to a fortissimo.
The downloadable mp3 accompaniment track is useable with both solo and duet/trio versions. The solo version is also included in the collection, Sacred Solos for Bell Tree, Set 1: Lent, Easter, Pentecost and General Hymns (code CGB1203.)
