Johnnie Carl was the orchestra conductor, arranger and orchestrator for the Crystal Cathedral Television Ministries of Robert Schuller. A Song of Peace is one of Carl's most triumphant achievements. Based on Jean Sibelius' symphonic poem Finlandia, A Song of Peace speaks of the glory of God's creation and the hope that God's work may abound throughout the nation. Written for SATB choir with organ accompaniment, brass and percussion, or full orchestra, this piece will be an outstanding addition to church services, festival choirs, school concerts or patriotic events. Includes edits and suggestions by Don Neuen.
